Thank you for visiting! I am honored to be part of the Larkspur-Corte Madera school community and to serve as a member of the district's special education team. I am originally from the Philadelphia area. Growing up, I attended a small Quaker school that valued individuality and equality. I received my BA in psychology from Boston University. I then attended Northeastern University for my MS/CAGS specialist degree in school psychology. When I moved to San Francisco, I earned my PPS credential through SFSU. I love living in the Bay Area and enjoy cooking and spending time outdoors.

Prior to joining the LCMSD, I completed school psychology internships in Brookline, MA and Albany, CA. I then spent two years as a school psychologist in Pacifica. I am grateful to continue my work as an advocate for children's needs in LCMSD and to embrace the district's emphasis on inclusion.

As a school psychologist, I complete individual evaluations for special education. I work with multidisciplinary teams through the Student Study Team process to problem-solve and support students' unique needs. I also consult with school staff and families about academic, social/emotional, and behavioral needs, and provide direct school-based counseling.

For more information about the role of school psychologists, please refer to the National Association of School Psychologist website.

Warmly,

Lynn Rabson
